Serendipitous people are luckier than they even intend to be. When they have an intention of finding something, they often arrive and stumble upon something even better! Get ready to make your own serendipitous luck with these 3 tips!
1. FOLLOW THE SIGNS
Symbolism is used in movies, in feng shui, and in real life to giveyou subtle messages and magical experiences. Follow the signs, and listen or open your eyes for the messages. You’ll be surprised what you discover.
Example: Years ago, my friend unexpectedly lost her lover, Collin. She honored him with a memorial at the Temple at Burning Man, and with a dragonfly tattoo. On that Sunday, as the Temple reverently burned to embers, and a solemness whispered across the crowd, she thought of Collin. They she saw a dragonfly balloon gliding across the crowd, and walked towards it. She asked the man who held the balloon “May I watch the temple burn with you?” He said yes, and introduced himself as Collin. Her heart leapt. The chances of this young man having the same name felt like more than coincidence. She took comfort in it, as a message from her angels that her beloved was there with her. Following the signs led her to a moment of comfort, magic and connection to the great mystery.
2. Explore new territory
And listen for the messages coming to you. If someone suggests you try a new venue, do it! When your curiosity guides you, you may stumble upon something even better than you were intending for.
Example: When I was new to a city, and someone said “If you want to meet film industry people, check out this live music bar where they all hang out.” So I did, and as I’m walking toward the door, people start running from the parking lot and making a long line! The person behind me said “Did you hear the announcement on the radio? Band X just announced a surprise show!” It happened to be THE band that I had tried to catch in the last 3 cities I traveled to, and had no luck. Yet here I was! Total dumb luck!
BTW: This is the actual definition of serendipity, when things like this happen! It’s also a great trick for manifesting: Don’t focus too hard on what you want. Let it go, be open and adventurous, and luck will find you

3. Call yourself lucky
It automatically makes you more perceptive to lucky sequences of events. Check this out:
Richard Wiseman, author of The Luck Factor, spent 10 years researching people who called themselves lucky. He conducted an experiment in which he placed the same chance opportunities—money on the ground and a potential encounter with a connected businessman—in the paths of two different people, one who claimed she was an unlucky person, the other who said things always seemed to work out well for him. The "lucky" guy immediately noticed the money on the ground and pocketed it, then struck up a conversation with the businessman in the coffee shop where he'd been planted. The "unlucky" woman, meanwhile, stepped right over the cash, and sipped her coffee without saying a word to the same businessman.His research showed that self-proclaimed lucky people are more open, and tend to meet more people that lead to fortuitous circumstances. They take risks, recognize opportunities, build networks, and focus on what’s going well. They know it’s not just “luck” that causes circumstances, it’s the power of their choices and their outlook on life.
